The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect on the 25th of May 2018. The GDPR is a directive on privacy for all individuals within the European Union. We only process your personal data if you use our website and/or if we have your explicit consent for processing your personal data. We treat your personal data as strictly confidential and only collect personal data that is required for legitimate purposes. Personal data is only processed for the indicated purpose. The data is not stored any longer than needed.
The types of personal data we process is dependent on the service you use. These services are listed below along with the types of personal data used in those services.
When you visit our website, we keep track of your visit. We store cookies by Google Analytics to analyze website traffic. This cookie collects your IP address. To ensure your privacy the last octet of your IP address is removed. The information is not shared with Google and will not be used by other Google services. We have a data processing agreement with Google Analytics.
When you create an account, we process the following data:
The information is only processed for authentication. Your email address is needed for verification, for issues related to your account and to restore your password. If you would like to delete your account and any data associated with that account, please contact us.
After adding your billing information, we will process the following data:
This information will only be used for sending you invoices and for tax purposes. For our VAT administration we are required to process certain personal information. Information that is optional in our forms is not lawfully required. However, if you would like to have this information shown on your invoice, we recommend filling in these field. For the invoices we ask you to fill in your country of residence. If the invoice is for a company additional information is required. If your company resides within the EU, we will also require you tax or VAT number.
Exceptions to the above are first and last name. We will use these to personalize our communications.
The payment information required for transactions and mandates are processed by Mollie B.V. (“Mollie”). If you would like to know which personal information is handled by Mollie, you can find this on Mollie’s website on their Privacy Statement page.
Quant Base only has limited insight into this information. For example, we are only able to see the last four digits of any credit card number.
Quant Base will only provide your personal data to third parties if this is required for the execution of an agreement with you, or to comply with any legal obligations. We sign data processing agreements with any third-parties that process your data to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Data will not be transferred outside of the EU.
Quant Base does not use automated decision-making.
Quant Base does not intend to collect data from website visitors who are younger than 16 years without the permission of a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify the age of a user. Please contact us if you believe that we have collected personal information from a minor without permission.
